Sewing Instructions:
Step 1:
With right sides together, sew a Color B (blue) 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangle to the
left and right sides of a Color C (cream) 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangle as shown
below. Press seams toward the darker fabric. Make 4 stripe units.

Step 2:
With right sides together, sew a Color C (cream) triangle to the right and
bottom sides of a Color A (orange) 2-1/2" square as shown below. Press seam
allowances toward the Color A (orange) square and trim points. Make
4.

Step 3:
With right sides together, sew a Color B (blue) triangle to the unit that you
created in Step 2 as shown below. Press seam allowance toward the blue fabric.
Make 4.

Step 4: Using the illustrations below as your guide, arrange the
units. Press seam allowances away from the center unit on the top and bottom
rows and toward the center unit in the center row. Sew rows together to finish
the block and press seam allowances toward the center row.

Your block should measure 12-1/2"
at this point. It will measure 12" when it is sewn into the
quilt.
